Miss Ellen
Hi, I'm Miss Ellen and I'm so happy to be your teacher this year! I grew up in the Germantown area, and went to college at ASU in Jonesboro, AR. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Corporate & Real Estate Finance, but after a few years in the office, I realized it wasn't exactly my passion. I was coaching soccer, and very much enjoyed my time with the kids. I found myself turning towards teaching, and before I knew it, I was in love. Now, I can't imagine myself anywhere other than the classroom. I feel blessed to be a part of your children's lives, and so happy to contribute to their development.
As far as my own children... I have 2 daughters. Arwen is a 4yr old yellow lab, and Cinnamon is a 2yr old red lab. :) When I'm not at school, I'm usually with my girls. You can also find me cooking, camping (or just being outside), messing around on the soccer field, or with my family. I'm so happy to get to know your families, and become close with you all. I know this year will be great! |
Miss Johnnice
My name is Ms. Johnnice. I am married to Rev. Capt. Jerald Ulmer, Sr. and we are the proud parents of five wonderful adult children and the super- proud grandparents of five beautiful granddaughters. I grew up in the Mississippi Delta and attended college at Mississippi Valley State University. I am a certified parent educator. My past experience working with children and parents have being a home day-care provider and working with at-risk-children from elementary to high school level in the public school sector. There is no greater joy than to witness a child turn his or her life around and get on the right track. My husband and I recognized our calling to be servants of the Lord and are blessed to have laid the foundation of Salvation In Christ Church with two locations, in South Mississippi and Oakland, TN. Working with children and serving The Lord has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. There is no greater honor than to accept Christ as our Lord and Savior and to be entrusted in the development of children’s lives. My hobbies include cooking (I’ve been told that I am pretty good at it) and reading. I look forward to many great times ahead with you and your children.
